P.F.S. Training Division is dedicated to assisting Law Abiding Citizens in obtaining the means necessary to feel secure in their daily lives. Be that through the lawful possession of physical tools for defense or training to better prepare themselves.
The CCW course is for people who wish to obtain their concealed firearms permit. The course goes over basic handgun safety and range rules, proper firing techniques, Missouri laws pertaining to concealed carry and live-fire at the range. The morning session of the class will take place in the classroom. Live-fire at the range will be conducted in the afternoon. Students are required to fire 20 practice rounds and 20 qualification rounds from both a revolver and semi-automatic.
The range is located outdoors, so dress accordingly for the weather.
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course.
Length of course: 8 hours. Begins at 8 a.m.
What you will need: For those that have your own firearm, bring your unloaded and cased pistol and a minimum of 100 rounds of factory ammunition.
If you have a gun you intend to use for personal defense, we recommend you bring this gun for the course.
A 30 minute break will be taken for lunch. Lunch will be provided but Students may choose to eat at a local restaurant or bring a sack lunch.
If you do not have hearing and eye protection, it will be provided.
There is no live ammunition allowed in the classroom at any time.
Please leave all ammunition in your vehicle until the afternoon shooting section of the course.
